McJunkin Red Man Corporation Opens Executive Offices in Houston, Texas

TULSA, OKLAHOMA, February 09, 2009: McJunkin Red Man Corporation (MRC) today announced the opening of new executive offices in Houston, Texas.


Andrew Lane, McJunkin Red Man Corporation's President and CEO, since September 2008, said, "Houston, Texas, is the energy capital of the world and we are pleased to add Houston executive offices to our current headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Charleston, West Virginia. Houston is already home to our largest distribution center in North America with a combined 200,000 square feet of warehouse space, 40,000 square feet of office space, 80 acres of pipe yard and over 325 employees.


"By opening the new offices, located at 2 Houston Center, MRC's executive management can focus more time helping our major customers not only meet their North American pipe, valves and fittings (PVF) supply chain challenges, but also assisting them in optimizing their global PVF supply chain needs. In addition, the Houston office expansion will allow the Company's management to work more closely with the large concentration of our key suppliers that are located in Houston."


Lane and several MRC senior executives will divide their time between Houston, Tulsa and Charleston.
