Other Events

On October 24, 2012, MRC Global Inc. announced that it has rescheduled its earnings conference call and will release its third quarter 2012 financial results on Friday, October 26, 2012 after the market closes. The Company will conduct an investor conference call at 4:45 p.m. ET (3:45 p.m. CT) on Friday, October 26, 2012, to discuss the results for the quarter. Instructions on how to participate in the conference call are contained in the announcement, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

MRC GLOBAL INC. ANNOUNCES NEW DATE AND TIME FOR THIRD QUARTER 2012 EARNINGS

RELEASE AND CONFERENCE CALL SCHEDULE

HOUSTON – OCTOBER 24, 2012 — MRC Global Inc. (NYSE:MRC) announced today that it will release its third quarter 2012 results on Friday, October 26, 2012 after the market closes. In conjunction with the release, the Company has scheduled a conference call, which will be broadcast live over the Internet, for Friday, October 26, 2012 at 4:45 p.m. Eastern / 3:45 p.m. Central. The company has rescheduled the release and conference call to this earlier date and time to allow maximum flexibility in connection with a potential secondary share offering by its majority shareholder.
