  • Andrew R. Lane

    Mr. Lane has served as a director and our president and CEO since September 2008.  He was our chairman of the Board from December 2009 until April 2016 when the positions of chairman of the Board and CEO were separated.  From December 2004 to December 2007, he served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Halliburton Company, an international, oilfield services firm.  Prior to that, he held a variety of leadership roles within Halliburton. Mr. Lane received a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Southern Methodist University in 1981 (cum laude). He also completed the A.M.P. at Harvard Business School in 2000.

    Mr. Lane is uniquely qualified to serve as one of our directors due to his extensive executive and leadership experience in the oil and natural gas industry, including oilfield services, and his in-depth knowledge of our operations.

    • Kelly Youngblood

      Kelly Youngblood is our Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Kelly brings more than 30 years of extensive energy and finance expertise to MRC Global. Prior roles include CFO at BJ Services, the largest North American-focused pure-play pressure pumping services provider and Senior Vice President & CFO at Diamond Offshore Drilling, Inc. He has also held a variety of finance and accounting positions of increasing responsibility at Halliburton, including Vice President of Investor Relations, where he was awarded Institutional Investor magazine’s Best Investor Relations for the Oil Services and Equipment Sector twice. Kelly is a CPA and graduate of Cameron University.
      • Daniel J. Churay

        Daniel J. Churay has served as our Executive Vice President - Corporate Affairs, General Counsel, CHRO & Corporate Secretary since 2011. In his current role, Dan manages the company’s human resources, legal, risk compliance, corporate services and external and government affairs functions. He also acts as Corporate Secretary to the company’s Board of Directors. He previously served as President and CEO of Rex Energy Corporation, an independent oil and gas company; Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of YRC Worldwide Inc., a Fortune 500 transportation and logistics company; and Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of Baker Hughes Incorporated, a Fortune 500 company that provides products and services to the petroleum and continuous process industries. Dan began his career as an attorney at the law firm of Norton Rose Fulbright in Houston, Texas. Dan received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Texas and a juris doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center, where he was a member of the Law Review.

          Senior Vice President - Strategy, Corporate Development & E-Commerce

          Grant Bates is our Senior Vice President – Strategy, Corporate Development & E-Commerce where he leads the implementation of our long-term business strategy, mergers and acquisitions and e-commerce initiatives.
           
          Grant has held various senior leadership roles across our business, including his most recent responsibilities for our international and Canadian operations covering 20 countries. He was also previously Senior Vice President Operational Excellence and CIO, where he led the implementation of SAP across the international region and expanded MRC Global’s e-commerce strategy, while also leading a team covering quality, safety, health and environment (QHSE), transportation and business processes improvement activities globally. He served as Senior Vice President of Canadian Operations from 2014 to 2016 and Regional Vice President of the Australasian region from 2012 to 2014. Grant joined MRC Global in March 2012 through the acquisition of OneSteel Piping Systems, which he led at the time. He has more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing and distribution of PVF products across a variety of senior management roles. Grant holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Newcastle (Australia) and an MBA from Deakin University (Australia).
           

          • John Bowhay

            Senior Vice President - International Operations & Global VAMI

            John Bowhay is our Senior Vice President – International Operations & Global Valves, Automation, Measurement & Instrumentation (VAMI) and is responsible for the implementation of our valve-centric strategy. John joined MRC Global through our UK heritage company, Transmark Fcx, and brings more than 35 years of industry experience and valve expertise. John has held a variety of leadership roles in his career, including Senior Vice President – Supply Chain Management, Valve & Technical Product Sales; Senior Vice President – Asia Pacific & Middle East Operations; Vice President – European Operations; Managing Director – UK Operations; and as Vice President – Sales in the UK for Transmark Fcx. John attended the London Business School.
            • Rance Long

              Rance Long serves as our Senior Vice President – Business Development responsible for our business development efforts globally. Most recently he served as our Vice President BD, Midstream Pipeline & Gas Utilities since 2013. Prior to this role, he served as Vice President – Line Pipe and was responsible for all line pipe sales in the US. He joined MRC Global as part of the acquisition of LaBarge Pipe and Steel in 2008. Rance holds a bachelor’s degree in construction from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
              • Jack McCarthy

                Senior Vice President - Supply Chain

                Jack McCarthy currently serves as our Senior Vice President – Supply Chain. Most recently, he served as our Vice President - Supply Chain & Technical Sales. Prior to that role, Jack serviced as Vice President – Carbon Steel Pipe, Fittings, Flanges & VAMI SCM where he led our line pipe team since 2011 with responsibilities for our carbon steel fittings and flanges being added in 2016. Prior to joining MRC Global with the acquisition of LaBarge Pipe and Steel in 2005, he held roles in business development, sales and sales management in the industrial distribution industry for 17 years. Jack is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a former vice president and board member of the National Association of Steel Pipe Distributors.

                  Robert Stein joined the MRC Global team in 1984 and currently serves as our Senior Vice President – Business Development & Supply Chain Transition.

                  Throughout his career, Robert has served in a variety of roles including Senior Vice President – Business Development & Supply Chain Management, regional and branch management, downstream business development, project services and integrated supply. Robert received a bachelor’s degree in business management from Sam Houston State University.

                    Karl Witt is our Senior Vice President -- North America Operations. Throughout his career with MRC Global, Karl has served leadership roles at every level of our operations including warehouse manager, outside sales representative, branch manager and regional manager. He brings more than forty years of experience to his role and attended South Suburban College in Chicago.
